1. Point of Information
Used to ask a question to the speaker about his or her position paper or about anything regarding the debate ́s topic. Cannot interrupt.

2. Follow-ups
These are used to ask another question to the speaker after asking a first question. By using a
follow-up, a question regarding the first question shall be asked. Cannot interrupt.

3. Point of Commentary
This is used to say something to a delegate regarding his/her position paper or anything related to
the debate ́s topic. Cannot interrupt.

This is used to denote that parliamentary procedure was not properly followed whenever the chair
has not said something yet. May interrupt. Must be said raising the placard and in an appropriate
tone of voice.

5. Point of Personal Privilege
Used to express something personal. For example, asking the chair to ask a delegate to speak
louder, to turn on the lights, to turn the fans on/off, etc.

This is used to ask something to the chair regarding parliamentary procedure or something
relevant for matters of the session. May not interrupt.
